Basic Safety Training - refresher - NEW course, required from 16 October 2014

The course is designed in accordance with the requirements of Reg.I/11 and Table A-I/11 para 2 of the STCW' 78,as amended, and the national maritime standards

 The course aim is the to give the trainees knowledge about the latest covnentional requirements and to improve skills for survival at sea, firefighting rules appliance and firs aid giving to injured and ill seafarers.
Entry standards:
The trainees shall be:
-at least 18 years old
-to have attended and successfully completed initial Basic Safety Training course
-to present declaration for their good fisical and mental status
-to present declaration  that within previous 5 years have completed on board training 
Necessary documents:
-diploma
-declaration for their good fisical and mental status
-declaration  that within previous 5 years have completed on board training 
-seaman passport
-certificate for maritime competency
-expired BST certificate
-seagoing service at least one year within the previous 5 years or at least 3 months within the previous 6 months
The course is successfully completed after passed practical examination. Successful trainees Maritime Administration issues the respective certificate.
According to the BMA requirements, the course is videorecorded.

On request the training is provided in English as well.
