This course is designed to increase the knowledge and skills of trainees on the organization and compliance with sfety measures on board the ship, establishing safe working conditions and prevention of unwanted accidents at sea.
The basic purpose of the course is to train maritime specialists for the professional health protection and safety onboard ships in accordance with the current law and provide a possibility for future shipboard officers to implement some practical skills for imprpving the professional health activities on board.
The programme is designed to meet the requirements and recommendations of ISM Code and Code of Safe Working Practices for Merchant Seamen and following STCW Code Tables A-II/2 and the IMO Model Course 3.11
